HVACR Vietnam 2019 Seminars

Besides a comprehensive showcase of exhibitors, HVACR Vietnam also features a series of industry seminars that are presented by knowledge experts and key dignitaries across a broad range of topics which are of forefront interest to the industry.

The seminars are a valuable learning resource for all visitors of the show, as well as a good networking opportunity with the industry leaders.

The seminars are covered across topical tracks, such as Green Buildings & SMART Technologies on the 1st day, Industry Insights & Innovation on the 2nd day, and the Future of Energy Efficiency in Vietnam on the last day.

Green Buildings & SMART Technologies

The seminars on Green Buildings & SMART Technologies set the stage for profile insights into Vietnam's sustainable infrastructure and green buildings. The objective is geared towards how SMART technologies can improve the performance and offer greater convenience with the adoption of automation and artificial intelligence to support and address common challenges.

Solving the Energy Conundrum: Smart & Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism in Asia

The highly-visual presentation and talk looks at key journeys, learnings and projects by Architect, Ar. Tan Szue Hann, Chairman of Sustainability, the Singapore Institute of Architects and Singapore's Young Green Architect 2015-2016, in greening buildings and townships in Singapore and the rest of Asia. New, smart technology initiatives that Ar. Hann has incorporated into his projects for better sustainability performance, will also be showcased.

Green Buildings have established itself as one of the fastest growing segments in the construction industry in China, United States and many other parts of the world, even during economic slowdowns. Similarly, the green building movement has seen impressive growth in adoption in the Vietnam market, coming from a variety of sectors, including factories, office and high-rise residential. Ms. Phan Thu Hang  from Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC), as a pioneering non-profit organization promoting green buildings in Vietnam, will deliver a brief introduction on the basic concepts and principles in green buildings and a Vietnam market update to give participants an overview of this fast-growing and important trend.

Ar. Tan Szue Hann, M. Arch, is Managing Director of MINIWIZ Singapore, a global Circular Economy RD&D design firm that upcycles waste, and from it, creates architecture, interiors and consumer products. He is a Registered Architect, a Board Member of the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC), and a Council Member and Chairman, Sustainability, Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA). Szue Hann is also an appointed World Cities Summit Young Leader (from 2016), a BCA Built Environment Young Leader (from 2016), both by the Ministry of National Development.

Ms. Phan Thu Hang

Ms. Phan Thu Hang is presently the Technical Director of Saint-Gobain Group. She first started her career with a background in Architecture. Before assuming her current position, she has been practicing Building Design and Project management for more than 10 years–mainly involving the early FDI funded projects in Ho Chi Minh City, taking various positions. To broaden her knowledge beyond technical background and shifting toward management field, she had obtained a 2nd degree in MBA and Advance Marketing. She actively participates in VGBC since the early 2010, represent the Green champion role of Saint Gobain, organizing and speaking in various VGBC’s workshops, seminars. To deepen her knowledge in Sustainable building topic, she has participated on Lotus for professional training and obtained Lotus AP certificate in 2013.

Mr. Ninh Viet Tu is a renowned expert for Energy Efficiency and Training for M&E Engineers. With more than 10 years experiences in project sales and a trainer of BANK CODE, he had created a new tool that will help all business owners and employees in the HVACR industry to save time and enhance productivity to win that sales where speed is of the essence.

Mr. Nicolas Sautter, Head of SAUTER Asia-Pacific, holds degrees in IT and Marketing. He joined SAUTER in 2008 and after his successful launching of the SVC software in the European Market, he was promoted to Market Manager Asia-Pacific. He has been living in Asia and traveling all around the region for the last few years, acquiring both a solid understanding of the Asian market and the necessary set of competences to create and manage the new SAUTER APAC Competence Center in Singapore.
